Ornamental deciduous or semi evergreen bush known as well as “the plant that attracts butterflies”. It impresses with its fragrant flowers that blossom in the period of June to September in a wide variety of colours. It has rapid development which can be either horizontal or straight and its maximum height is 3m. It prospers in neutral or alkaline, fertile and well drained soils as well as in sunny locations. It is resistant to saltiness and cold (-20 C) and pruning is advised at the end of autumn. During summer frequent watering is important. It can be planted both in pots and gardens.
