Description

Evergreen ornamental climbing bush or tree with maximum height 3m .Its main feature is its beautiful purple with yellow stamens flowers that appear in summer and in autumn and grow in very thin branches whose skin has red colour. Its foliage is long, glossy dark green. It prospers in sunny locations with fertile, well drained soils and does not require frequent watering. It is resistant to drought, saltiness and atmospheric pollution however it must be protected from cold and be pruned drastically at the end of winter. It is widely used both in gardening and balcony decoration and it can be planted as sole or in groups.
